Prior to joining the Jazz Ambassadors, Paul performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia with a wide range of artists, including Maynard Ferguson, Maureen McGovern, John Pizzarelli, Chicago, Barry Manilow, Nicholas Payton, The San Antonio Sympony, and The NHK Symphony. He has recorded both jazz and classical CDs, as well as performing on motion picture soundtracks, TV shows, and commercials. See Paul's bio page for more info.

Allana and Xena (our min-pin)
Paul's wife, Allana Stephens, is on active duty with the U.S. Air Force Reserve. She is the Chief of Force Management Analysis and has an office in Arlington, Virginia. She is also a musician. She currently plays the bass but in the past she has played the trumpet, trombone, and french horn. Before joining the Air Force she taught middle school and high school math. She was also a member of the Army National Guard where she performed with the 145th Guard band in Oklahoma City and the 49th Armored Division Band in Austin, Texas.
Paul and Allana are both from Del City, Oklahoma. They met in High School and were married shortly after graduating. They've been married for more than 23 years and don't have any children. They do have a min-pin named Xena and cat named Etta. They currently live in Annapolis, Maryland.
